Takatoke Factory (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use PUBETE (the “App”) or contact us for support.

1. Data Collection

PUBETE does not collect, transmit, sell, rent, or share personal information.

The App does not require you to create an account and does not include advertising, third-party analytics, tracking technologies, or user-profiling systems.

2. EPUB Documents and On-Device Processing

EPUB files and their contents are processed locally on your device. Takatoke Factory does not receive, access, upload, or store your books, text, images, metadata, code, or other document contents.

You choose where your documents are opened and saved. This may include local device storage, iCloud Drive, or another file provider configured on your device.

If you use iCloud Drive or a third-party file provider, the storage and synchronization of your files are managed by Apple or the relevant provider and are subject to that provider’s privacy policy and terms.

3. Visual Editing and Previews

PUBETE uses Apple WebKit technology to render EPUB previews and provide visual WYSIWYG editing. EPUB content is rendered within the App using local resources. PUBETE does not send document contents to Takatoke Factory for rendering or processing.

4. Analytics, Advertising, and Tracking

PUBETE does not use third-party analytics or advertising services.

The App does not track you across apps or websites, does not create advertising profiles, and does not access the device advertising identifier for tracking purposes.

Apple may provide developers with aggregated App Store sales, installation, performance, or diagnostic information according to your device settings and Apple’s own privacy policies. This information is managed by Apple and does not include the contents of your EPUB documents.

5. External Links

The App may include links to external websites, such as open-source project pages. Opening one of these links takes you outside PUBETE. We are not responsible for the content, security, or privacy practices of external websites.

6. Support Communications

If you contact us by email, we may receive your email address and any information you voluntarily include in your message.
